Print Design
To look sharp and to print sharp.
Screen Printing,Offset Printing, Digital Printing, and Web Printing.
There is much more in print design than just how the digital version looks. As with screen printing other forms of printing require film output. A negative film output is used in offset or (paper) printing and a positive film output is needed for screen printing. All the designs above had to color separated before they can be put on film and ultimately be printed. I use an industry based software called Fast Films for Photoshop channel separations.
Anyhow, what I like about all of this is the outcome. The final product. It's really cool to see a design that I have created put on a shirt or paper. There's just something cool about that.
And again, working with the client and researching are the most important first steps to me. You can't always nail it the first time but the more info you start with the better chance you have.
