About myself

Well let's see...
My name is Richard Johnson. I am currently living and working in Morristown, Tennessee. With this area being very rural there is not much opportunity for a designer such as myself. I work at a local sign shop doing all of the design work and vinyl cutting. My goal is to obtain a web designer or digital designer position with a growing company that I would have the opportunity to grow with. I would love to work with a team and to be a valuable part of company projects.

The majority of experience I have with graphics is in the screen printing industry. After working for 16 years in the industry I earned an Associates Degree in Website design and developement in 2006. I really enjoy designing for the Web. There's just so much out there learn no matter how much you think you might know already.

In my younger years I was always fascinated by the arts. I piddled around on notebook paper and began playing drums at the age of 13. I guess I just love the creative process. Creating something simply by a feeling or by emotion. The whole process is fun for me. I wish to learn as much as I can from others.
